Today I had the first home-working day at my new retro desk which I bought from the internet last week. S was so kind to go and collect it on his lunch break last Friday, carry it in and put together. Handy man.

It was really nice to have a steady place to work (but it was also Monday and my motivation close to zero). It was also strange because it was so quiet (no birds singing) and I had no view to the garden. So I played classic music from the iPad to fill in the silence but until the lunch break only.

The reason for the long silence here is because we’ve been working on the attic rooms almost every spare moment. And they’re finally so ready we could move in about a week ago! It’s fantastic! So much space downstairs now the big bed is gone and everything is a bit re-organized. We call our tiny living room “the dance hall” since we made few improvements yesterday.

And the new mattresses are just great to sleep on. Now we really know what we’ve been missing.
