There’s a brand new (small) Finnish library in Gent. We heard about it from Eduardo on Soirée on Friday and went to see it Saturday evening. For the first time in these three years i met Finnish people who live in Gent. At least five of them. And then there was a guest from Finland who knew my name – i could vaguely remember that i might have met him but needed some memory refresh before i could remember: he was Ninotschka‘s cousin (small world again) and also a friend of Mira, the pinhole photographer. I donated a book that was given to me by Mölli to the library because i felt that’s where it belonged to. I was asked advise on how to classify books and organize the lending. I recommended to keep them in random order so long as the books are not covering the whole wall and use a simple version of Detroit lending. With real library card.
My brother is in Amsterdam. We will meet him and Manuela on Thursday in Rotterdam. Sunday we should be on the road again. But there’s scanning in between. Geike’s with eS.
